About

I am a fully qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and a member of the relevant professional bodies – BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council) and the FPC (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling). My training was at WPF (Westminster Pastoral Foundation), generally acknowledged as one of the foremost institutions in the UK. Therapy is a constantly changing field, so I keep up-to-date with latest scientific developments.

My previous career was as a writer and editor and my first degree in art and design. So I have experience of the creative and media industries and have worked as a student counsellor for the RCA. I regularly contribute to national publications. Subjects I have written about recently include anxiety, the menopause, parenting difficult children, teenage and family dynamics, the impact of drug and alcohol addiction on families. I also have experience as a work and creative coach.
